The “Ohio’s Role in the Civil War” traveling exhibit created by the American Civil War Museum of Ohio is an educational and entertaining exhibit suitable for all ages. This traveling exhibit educates and entertains visitors on Ohio’s vital role in the Civil War including: Johnson’s Island & Camp Chase prisoner of war camps, the first Medal of Honor winners, the battle of Buffington Island and the sacrifice made by tens of thousands of Ohioans to hold the Union together.
The traveling exhibit includes several cases of Civil War artifacts, reproduction clothing that the young at heart can try on, and even crossword and word search puzzles.
